Animal Lifeline at the
Bucks County Antique Gallery!

We receive so many generous merchandise donations at the thrift shop.  Some of the items are truly wonderful vintage and collectible pieces, and we've decided to sell some of these items at the Bucks County Antique Gallery!

We have been warmly welcomed by the staff at the gallery, and are excited about exposure to different customers in this new venue. Box by box, piece by piece, we're gradually filling our little spot in this BIG store!

You'll find a welcoming atmosphere at the Bucks County Antique Gallery, with coffee waiting for you as you walk in the front door and play areas if you have a child with you while shopping.

Please come and visit Animal Lifeline at the Bucks County Antique Gallery: up the stairs, to the left, and go straight...we're the second to the last stall on the left!

THANK YOU!

Many thanks to the staff at Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic for their gentle care of Dylan, the dog we rescued from West Virginia.

After evaluating Dylan, we realized that his leg was beyond repair and was causing him constant pain. Special thanks to Dr. Dale Mantell, for donating his time and skill to remove Dylan's leg, leaving plenty of his hip in place for good balance and mobility.

Dylan was up and walking right away and is healing really well. We will let you know more about this special dog in our next newsletter!

DVCFeral Cat Shelter Building Project
OTTO: Male, age 7.  One of the almost 400 cats rescued in the Elk County raid at the end of June.  Recovering from flea bite dermatitis, coat filling in nicely. BIG boy, very talkative and sweet, deserving of a loving home after a difficult life. Quickly becoming a store favorite!
Otto

CARAWAY: Female, about 8 months old, another cat from the Elk County raid. Sadly, Caraway was born into that hoarding situation and has spent the majority of her life in a cage. Also recovering from flea bite dermatitis.  Siamese mix, elegant, sweet but very shy, becoming more social with positive care at the Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop.

THING ONE & THING TWO: Male kittens, about 10 weeks old, brought in by Animal Control.  Ridiculously funny, loving and attached to each other.  As you can see by looking at their picture, we're looking to adopt these siblings together as lifelong buddies.

OfficeKittens
IMPY: Male, about 7-8 weeks old.  Born into a feral cat situation and rescued by Animal Lifeline volunteers from a hole in a walnut tree. So comical, cute & playful!

ABBY: Female, 7-8 weeks old, illegally abandoned at the Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop. Abby was deposited in a small box outside the store on top of a pile of donations, and did not make a sound. Luckily for her, and for us, one of our volunteers had a few minutes and opened the box before bringing it into the intake room with all the other donations we had recently received. It would truly have been a needless and ironic loss if this tiny creature had died in a pile of items donated with the intention of generating funds for animal rescue.

Abby was originally Abner, because she was so tiny when we found her that her sex could not be determined correctly. Lovingly raised for the last three weeks, Abby is Animal Lifeline's sweetheart!

Sadie Sue

Sadie Sue was adopted from Animal Lifeline, but is now looking for a new home because her owner is experiencing a health crisis.

This well-bred Heinz 57 is drawn to children. Sadie is young, playful, healthy, housebroken and loyal. She is on the smaller side, about knee-high. She is being fostered in Bucks County.

Visit Sadie's Petfinder page and let us know if you would like to meet her!
