This adorable older puppy is in need of a loving
home. A Shepherd-Lab mix, Max has one of the nicest temperaments
we have ever seen. He is smart, fun-loving and would be an excellent
dog for first timers. He is warm and affectionate, but not attention-seeking
or needy. Kids are his favorites, but Max loves everyone!
Learn
more about Max on his Petfinder page!

Cats
Rescued in Elk County
At the end of June, the ASPCA and American Humane Association raided a 'sanctuary' in western Pennsylvania,
rescuing almost 400 cats living in deplorable conditions. The Bucks
County SPCA in Lahaska took in some of the rescued kitties and asked if
we could help as well, so Otto & Caraway are staying with us at the
store.
If you would like to adopt one of the cats rescued from this tragedy,
please visit the Bucks County SPCA or come to meet our new friends at
the Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop!

Donations,
large or small, allow us to continue our rescue efforts...thank you!
