Congratulations
to the Lower Southampton Animal Control Advisory
Board for hosting such a successful pet fair last
weekend! We were fortunate to participate in
an event that allowed us to meet a lot of
potential adopters and network with so many
rescues, shelters and vendors.

Training did a session on positive
training techniques with our own Lucy - this
rockstar Plott Hound mix is still up for
adoption!)

Thank you to volunteers
from Delaware Valley College Animal Lifeline Club
for spending last Sunday morning building a huge
exercise pen for Warminster Animal
Control!

Students helped
municipal services and then got a guided tour and
introduction to the Police Dogs that serve our
community.

Last chance to
take a class with Animal Lifeline Education
at Delaware
Valley College!
Lessons in Leadership:
Are you "The Big Cheese",
or just the human
who has some
cheese?":
Monday, May 3, 7-9PM
How do you communicate
leadership to your dog? Is the trick in the
training? Join us as we will take a look
at common approaches to working with dogs and
the subtle ways that you can communicate
"leadership". We'll discuss the dog/human dynamic,
social hierarchies, body language displays, and
much more!
Look for more classes
from
Animal Lifeline next
fall!

CALLING
ALL STORE VOLUNTEERS!!!
Denise & Laurie are headed
out on a three-county shelter rehab trip with our
outreach volunteers from May 21-27.
This important trip will help other shelters
from less economically fortunate areas update their
facilities and take better care of their
animals. We are bringing a veterinarian and a
trainer to help with education, and several volunteers
from the Delaware Valley College Animal Lifeline Club
and the Thrift Shop will do all of the
labor.
We
will need all hands on
deck while folks are away on this trip! If
you are a Thrift Shop volunteer, it would be great if
you could help out at the store that week so we can keep
the doors open!
Please
call 215-343-5050 and ask for Laurie or Denise to get
shift information. If everyone could pitch in a
few volunteer hours, it would be a tremendous
help!
THANK
YOU!
(No
new volunteers that week, please!) |

Luigi!
Oh,
my goodness, what a tiny thing!
Luigi
is a six-year-old Hairless Chinese Crested. This
incredibly sweet creature was was rescued from a hoarder
situation.
This
lovebug wants nothing more than to curl up in your
lap! Luigi loves children and wouldn't mind a home
with other small dogs. Due to his "Hairless"
nature, Luigi may also be a good fit in a home dealing
with allergies.
If you would like to see if Luigi
might be your perfect companion, check out more
information on his Petfinder
page!
