DUKE!
Meet
Duke, a very special boy.
Duke
is what we would call an "ambassador" pit
bull. He is good with children, cats and
other dogs. He loves to travel by car and is
happy to meet everyone along the way. At
home, he is a cuddle-bug.
Duke is
neutered, up-to-date on shots and ready for his
forever home. Call 215-343-5050 if you would
like to meet this wonderful dog, and go to our
online adoption application to get
adoption pre-approval! |
On June 5th, one of
our most dedicated volunteers, Kathy Jars, was
struck by a truck just a block away from the
Animal Lifeline Thrift
Shop.
After weeks of care at
Abington Hospital and MossRehab, Kathy will be
going home.
We are thankful to those who
have made donations to help Kathy. If you
would like to make a contribution toward her
ongoing home healthcare requirements, please see
us at the
store.
We miss Kathy and her
gentle thoughtful ways every day and are
continuing to hope that one day, she'll be able to
return to the work she loved at Animal
Lifeline.
