Dear
Friends,
Pulling together pictures for our
slide show has brought back so many wonderful
memories!
Each animal reminds me of
the different people who worked, and sometimes
fought, to save that one precious life.
I owe many people great thanks - family;
friends; store volunteers; family & friends
who became volunteers, and volunteers who became
friends; veterinarians and clinic staff; transport
drivers; Delaware Valley College Animal Lifeline
Club members; high school, middle school and
elementary school students; website managers; eBay
listers; law enforcement volunteers; food drive
and supply coordinators; graphic designers; event
coordinators; thrift store shoppers...
It
is such an honor to work with so many dedicated
people! To each and every one of you who
have helped Animal Lifeline save an animal this
year, I am deeply grateful.
I won't be in
the store much for the first week of the new
year. I'll be heading to Bamberg, SC to work
with Delaware Valley College students to rehab the
Mary Ann Morris Animal Society shelter and train
the staff there. But please come in to shop
at the Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop while I'm away,
so we'll have the funds we need to get 2010 off to
a great start!

You know how much we appreciate
all your donations,
and we often remind you to
consider the Animal Lifeline
Thrift Shop when you're
cleaning out the closets,
but right now,
WE'RE
SWAMPED!
Our thrift store volunteers have been
understandably busy
with family and friends this
holiday season,
so when everyone comes back,
we
need a little time to sort and clean
so we can start
2010 off on the right foot!
We won't turn any
donations away at the door, but if you could,
please hold off on donations of thrift store
merchandise
until TUESDAY, JANUARY
12.
